Be Kind was a late scratching at 11:43AM due to weight variation (GAR 39).
Lucky For Leigh, Beat Master, Midnight Onyx and Loving Pedro were slow out. Loving Pedro raced wide throughout the event. Beat Master, Midnight Onyx and Tickle Me Tilly collided soon after the start. Beat Master and Midnight Onyx collided several times between the 200mtr mark and the 50mtr mark. Bikini Clad and Buster Man collided at the 150mtr mark. Beat Master checked off the heels of Midnight Onyx approaching the winning post.
Beat Master was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right pencil muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
