Pre race samples were taken from Dyna Harrison.
Blackmead and Freeway Gypsy were slow out. Silent Hawk checked off the heels of Prudence Bale approaching the first turn. Dyna Harrison and Mr. Confidence collided on the first turn severely checking Mr. Confidence. Remi's Prince and Blackmead collided on the first turn severely checking Remi's Prince and Silent Hawk. Freeway Gypsy raced wide in the home straight.
