Steward's Report
Rich Awesome and Cynthia Bale collided soon after the start. Zed Hot and Melvyn Bale collided soon after the start. Melvyn Bale and Azzudid collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Melvyn Bale raced wide on the first turn. Freemates and Pen Bryn collided approaching the second turn. Azzudid contacted the rail on the second turn losing ground as a result. Freemates galloped on the heels of Cynthia Bale on the third turn. Rich Awesome checked off the heels of Zed Hot on the home turn. Rich Awesome and Melvyn Bale collided entering the home straight. Cynthia Bale, Freemates and Pen Bryn collided in the home straight checking Pen Bryn.
Azzudid was vetted following the Event and Dr. Alistair Smith, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound.
A swab sample was taken from Zed Hot, the winner of the Event.
