Steward's Report
Stewards withdrew Mack Titan at 6.35pm after the connections failed to present the greyhound by the appointed kennelling time. Acting in accordance with AGRR 18(4)&(5), the Stewards will stand Mack Titan down from competing for 28 days and will issue a fine to Trainer, Cameron Hudson, for the sum of $100.
Ingeborg was revetted prior to the running of this Event and passed fit to compete by Dr. Alistair Smith, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon.
Dyna Caitlan was slow out. Inflamed and Junior's Gypsy collided soon after the start. Mick's Star, Jack Temptation, Inflamed, Junior's Gypsy, Ingeborg and Dyna Caitlan collided on the first turn checking Ingeborg; Jack Temptation fell as a result. Inflamed and Junior's Gypsy collided approaching the second turn. Inflamed and Junior's Gypsy collided on the second turn. Inflamed and Junior's Gypsy collided entering the back straight. Inflamed and Junior's Gypsy collided on the third turn checking Inflamed. Mick's Star and Junior's Gypsy collided entering the home straight.
Jack Temptation was vetted following the Event and Dr. Alistair Smith, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left calf muscle and soreness to the left hind toes. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Smith, the Stewards will stand Jack Temptation down from competing for 7 days.
