Steward's Report
Judge Mint was withdrawn by Stewards at 6.15p.m. kennelling time after the greyhound was presented for racing 1.3kgs above its last start weight. Acting in accordance with AGRR 35, the Stewards fined Trainer, Lauren Gorman, the sum of $50.00 and will stand Judge Mint down from competing for 10 days.
A pre-race sample was taken from Pacific Sky.
Crystal Lankan and Rylee's Reward were slow out and collided soon after the start. Amaroo Gift, Satin Len, Alexander Bale and Rylee's Reward collided on the first turn. Satin Len faltered approaching the second turn and tailed off as a result. Pacific Sky raced wide in the back straight.
Satin Len was vetted following the Event and Dr. Alistair Smith, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right hock. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Smith, the Stewards will stand Satin Len down from competing for 28 days.
