Steward's Report
Planetoid was slow out. Storm Dancer, Cynthia Bale and Planetoid collided soon after the start. Cooga Star and Ben's Fury collided approaching the first turn. Planetoid, Kola's Gift and Timber Case collided on the first turn checking Planetoid and Timber Case. Cynthia Bale, Planetoid and Kola's Gift collided entering the back straight. Planetoid and Timber Case collided on the third turn. Ben's Fury and Convincing Lee collided entering the home straight.
Cynthia Bale was vetted following the Event and Dr. Alistair Smith, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the quadriceps and spike wounds to the left foreleg. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Smith, the Stewards will stand Cynthia Bale down from competing for 5 days.
