Steward's Report
She's Fawny and Youth Worker were slow out. Reverend, She's Fawny and Wine For Mine collided soon after the start checking Reverend and She's Fawny. Proud Jade and Town Player collided soon after the start. Proud Jade checked off the heels of Town Player approaching the first turn. Wine For Mine and Helm's Deep collided approaching the first turn. Wine For Mine, Helm's Deep, Town Player and Youth Worker collided on the first turn checking Reverend, Helm's Deep, Proud Jade and Town Player; Proud Jade and Town Player raced wide as a result. Helm's Deep and Proud Jade collided on the third turn checking both greyhounds. Helm's Deep checked off the heels of Proud Jade on the home turn.
Helm's Deep was vetted following the Event and Dr. Y. Indrawirawan, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained grazing to the right hind and an injury to the left hip. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Indrawirawan, the Stewards will stand Helm's Deep down from competing for 5 days.
