Steward's Report
Stewards withdrew Laang's Flinders at 11.00 a.m. kennelling time after the Club's Veterinary Surgeon reported that the greyhound was presented for racing with swelling to the right fore metacarapal as a result of a bee sting. Acting on a recommendation, the Stewards will stand Laang's Flinders down from competing for 3 days.
Civil Prince was slow out. Lika Kate and Saintly Tears collided soon after the start. Dynamic Speed, Riverlee Shiraz and Saintly Tears collided on the first turn checking Saintly Tears. Saintly Tears checked off the heels of Lika Kate on the third turn. Skinny Al and General Deano collided on the third turn. Lika Kate checked off the heels of Dynamic Speed approaching the home turn.
