Steward's Report
Billane Boy, Legends and King's Dilemma were slow out. Ceejay's Vixen crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Flossy Fling, Pacific Sky and Jakes Mate. Flossy Fling eased approaching the finishing line.
Flossy Fling was vetted following the Event and Dr. Anne Westergren, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left elbow and recommended that the greyhound be stood down from competing for 10 days. Flossy Fling was charged in contravention of AGRR 80.2 for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment approaching the finishing line. After taking evidence from Trainer, Brad Polson, and taking into account the injuries sustained to the greyhound, the Stewards invoked AGRR 82.1(d) in lieu of AGRR 80.2 and have directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will again be accepted.
