Steward's Report
Draft Man and Mr Tab collided soon after the start. Zyrtec, Red Sea and Jay Aye Mick collided soon after the start. Draft Man checked off the heels of Mr Tab approaching the first turn. Red Sea, Jay Aye Mick and Swordsman collided on the second turn. Mr Tab checked off the heels of Jay Aye Mick in the back straight. Mr Tab and Jay Aye Mick collided on the third turn.
Draft Man was vetted following the Event and Dr. Anne Westergren, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left back leg. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Westergren, the Stewards will stand Draft Man down from competing for 14 days.
Stewards issued a warning to Trainer, Con Maniatis, in regard to his tardiness when loading World Champ Camp into the boxes for this Event.
A swab sample was taken from Zyrtec, the winner of the Event.
