A pre-race sample was taken from Flex Padilla.
Myer, Flex Padilla and Alexander Bale were slow out. Myer, Flex Padilla and Magic Jason collided soon after the start. Magic Jason and Alexander Bale collided on the first turn. Kinda Keen checked off the heels of Majestic Flex approaching the second turn. Magic Jason checked off the heels of Alexander Bale on the second turn. Flex Padilla checked off the heels of Fools State in the back straight. Fools State checked off the heels of Majestic Flex on the third turn checking Flex Padilla. Fools State, Flex Padilla and Alexander Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Fools State. Fools State checked off the heels of Alexander Bale on the home turn.
Fools State was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to have suffered minor grazes, no stand down period was imposed.
