Nanchero Flash crossed to the rails approaching the first turn checking Ballynichol Man, Ash's Assassin, Auto Eddie and Vasse Felix. Vasse Felix checked off the heels of Nanchero Flash on the first turn. Ash's Assassin, Promised Land and Auto Eddie collided on the first turn; Promised Land and Auto Eddie raced wide as a result.
