Steward's Report
Rufus Reindeer was slow out. Hot Smile was very slow out. Miss Itch checked soon after the start. Dick Tracy and Dark Jay collided approaching the first turn. Ruffles Bale and Silent Flower collided approaching the second turn checking Silent Flower, which faulted and subsequently pulled up. Miss Itch and Rufus Reindeer collided several times approaching the home turn.
Silent Flower was vetted following the event, Dr Jon Cochrane, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon reported the greyhound to have a broken right hind leg. Silent Flower will stand down for a period of twenty-eight (28) days.
