Steward's Report
Trewly Special was slow out. Dyna Kayne and Freemates collided soon after the start. Fireside Kiss and Dyna Kayne collided on the first turn. Fireside Kiss checked off the heels of Judge Mint approaching the second turn checking Dyna Kayne. Royal Donna and Freemates collided approaching the second turn. Royal Donna contacted the running rail entering the back straight and lost ground.
Royal Donna was vetted following the Event and Dr. Gabrielle Carter, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that she could find no injury apparent with the greyhound. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Jason Thompson, regarding the performance of Royal Donna this evening. Mr. Thompson told Stewards that he believes Royal Donna needs to lead to produce her best performance. He also advised that the greyhound brushed the running rail entering the back straight which resulted in the greyhound losing all chances in the Event.
