Steward's Report
Maybob, Dallas Gypsy and Little Miss Bee were slow out. Navajho Beck, Dallas Gypsy, Akina Ruby and She Is Lorraine collided soon after the start checking Dallas Gypsy and She Is Lorraine. Limburg Miss and Akina Ruby collided approaching the first turn checking Akina Ruby. Limburg Miss, Maybob, Little Miss Bee and Hyde Park collided on the first turn checking Limburg Miss, Maybob and Little Miss Bee. Akina Ruby and Little Miss Bee collided on the third turn. Navajho Beck and Hyde Park collided on the third turn and again approaching the home turn. Dallas Gypsy and Hyde Park collided on the home turn.
Dallas Gypsy was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound. Stewards issued a warning to Trainer, P. Hili, regarding the manner in which Dallas Gypsy raced approaching the home turn.
Hyde Park was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right hamstring. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Hyde Park down from competing for 5 days. Stewards issued a warning to Trainer, R. Clark, regarding the manner in which the greyhound raced on the home turn.
