Blue Sky Hazard, Call Home and Road Dancer collided soon after the start checking Call Home. Clutha Bale, Mac Whisky and Sundaresan collided on the first turn causing Sundaresan to fall and severely check Road Dancer and April Star. Road Dancer checked off the heels of Blue Sky Hazard on the home turn checking April Star. Call Home and Mac Whisky collided entering the home straight.
Sundaresan was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the right shoulder and will be stood down from racing for 10 days to recuperate.
