Steward's Report
A pre-race swab was taken from Spanky Lass.
Spanky Lass was slow out. Bellus Canus and Eyeliner collided soon after the start. Star Witch and Majestic Magee collided soon after the start. Bellus Canus galloped on the heels of Eyeliner on the first turn causing both greyhounds to stumble and lose considerable ground as a result. Little Magna checked off the heels of Star Witch approaching the second turn checking Spanky Lass. Di's Second Babe checked off the heels of Majestic Magee in the back straight. Di's Second Babe checked off the heels of Majestic Magee on the third turn. Di's Second Babe clipped the heels of Majestic Magee entering the home straight checking Spanky Lass.
Eyeliner was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the left wrist and will be stood down from racing for 5 days to recuperate.
