Ruby Red Cheeks and Radiate collided soon after the start. Ruby Red Cheeks, Radiate, Not As Quick and Triple Swirl collided on the first turn checking Radiate, Not As Quick and Triple Swirl. Platinum Lady and Balaclava Gold collided on the first turn checking Balaclava Gold and severely checking Platinum Lady. Ruby Red Cheeks checked off the heels of Romanticise approaching the home turn checking Platinum Lady. Platinum Lady raced wide as a result. Triple Swirl and Glenmoyn Lad collided entering the home straight. Ruby Red Cheeks and Platinum Lady collided entering the home straight. Balaclava Gold checked off the heels of Romanticise in the home straight causing Triple Swirl to gallop on the heels of Balaclava Gold checking Triple Swirl, Balaclava Gold and Glenmoyne Lad as a result.
Platinum Lady was vetted after the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
