Steward's Report
Princess Uno was slow out. Spring Lioness, Ugly Betty and In The Hole collided soon after the start checking Spring Lioness and In The Hole. Princess Uno and Spring Lioness collided on the first turn checking Spring Lioness. Screaming Women was checked off the heels of Beaut Conquest approaching the home turn. Ugly Betty and Screaming Women collided approaching the home turn. Boss Of Bosses crossed to the outside on the home turn checking Screaming Women and Boss Of Bosses. Princess Uno and Spring Lioness raced wide in the home straight.
Spring Lioness was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left stopper, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Steward's spoke to Mr. S. Pye the trainer of Spring Lioness. Steward's deemed the performance of Spring Lioness unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 101 Steward's directed that Spring Lioness must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted. Steward's also issued a warning to Mr. Pye regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.
