Jaziri Bale and Ima Faithful collided on the third turn. Ima Faithful was vetted following the Event following a request from Handler, Nicki Haar (representing Trainer - Dennis Brown). Dr. Alistair Smith, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, subsequently reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound.

Civic Fox, Surprise Zing, Sole Intent and Gold Park were slow out. Surprise Zing and Sole Intent collided soon after the start. Sole Intent checked off the heels of Fancy Blonde approaching the first turn causing Sole Intent to fall as a result. Fancy Blonde checked off the heels of Civic Fox entering the front straight. Less Than Zero and Galliano collided on the third turn checking both greyhounds. Civic Fox and Galliano collided on the fourth turn. Gold Park eased approaching the finishing line. Sole Intent was vetted following the Event and Dr. Alistair Smith, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the left stopper pad. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Smith, the Stewards will stand Sole Intent down from competing for 5 days. Gold Park was also vetted following the Event and Dr. Smith reported that the greyhound was found to be sore in the right biceps. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Smith, the Stewards will stand Gold Park down from competing for 5 days. Stewards charged Gold Park under AGRR 80.2 for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment approaching the finishing line. After taking evidence from Handler, Joe Briffa, representing Trainer - Graeme Bate, and taking into account the injuries sustained to the greyhound, the Stewards invoked AGRR 82.1(d) in lieu of AGRR 80.2 and directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will again be accepted. Stewards also directed that a swab sample be taken from Gold Park, which finished 7th in the event.

Paris Bound was a late scratching at 4.15pm due to injury. Acting in accordance with AGRR 6(4), the Stewards will stand Paris Bound down from competing for 10 days. Dacre Bale was slow out. Jukambi and Rapidan collided soon after the start. Token Pride and Currency Tears collided soon after the start. Currency Tears and Dacre Bale collided on the first turn. Tannice Bale, Jukambi and Token Pride collided on the first turn checking Tannice Bale and Jukambi. Rapidan checked off the heels of Chaucer Bale entering the back straight. Rapidan and Dacre Bale collided approaching the third turn and again on the third turn. Jukambi checked off the heels of Token Pride entering the home straight. Millennium Park, Golden Brew and Thimble were slow out. Banner Park and Golden Brew collided on the third turn. Thimble checked off the heels of Ima Duke approaching the home turn. Night In Georgia, Night Riot and Thimble collided on the home turn. Millennium Park and Thimble collided in the home straight.

Bach's Maestro and Regal Tiger were slow out. Dixie Appeal and Regal Tiger collided soon after the start. Boss La Bella and Limpinwood Lass collided on the first turn. Boss La Bella and Serevi collided on the third turn checking Serevi and Unsettled. Bach's Maestro checked off the heels of Serevi approaching the home turn. Devon Park and Nat's Hope collided on the third turn. Draco Star and Kelton Bale collided on the third turn checking Draco Star. Rogue La Bella and Nat's Hope collided in the home straight causing Rogue La Bella to stumble and check Devon Dynamo. Rogue La Bella was vetted following the Event and Dr. Alistair Smith, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound had sustained a laceration to the left hind leg. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Smith, the Stewards will stand Rogue La Bella down from competing for 10 days.

Riverlee Bale was slow out and collided with Maldon Magic soon after the start. Baggy Green and Coulta Mulga collided on the first turn checking Coulta Mulga. Sweet Silkab and Disguised collided on the first turn.

Pearl Larricki was very slow out. Osti's Joker, Zamanui and World First were slow out.
