Steward's Report
Kelton Bale was slow out and collided with Draco Star soon after the start. Draco Star, Kelton Bale, Devon Dynamo, Connemara Lad and Nat's Hope collided soon after the start checking Kelton Bale. Rogue La Bella, Connemara Lad and Nat's Hope collided on the first turn checking Connemara Lad. Devon Park, Rogue La Bella and Nat's Hope collided on the second turn. Kelton Bale and Connemara Lad collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Rogue La Bella checked off the heels of Nat's Hope entering the back straight. Devon Park and Nat's Hope collided on the third turn. Draco Star and Kelton Bale collided on the third turn checking Draco Star. Rogue La Bella and Nat's Hope collided in the home straight causing Rogue La Bella to stumble and check Devon Dynamo.
Rogue La Bella was vetted following the Event and Dr. Alistair Smith, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound had sustained a laceration to the left hind leg. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Smith, the Stewards will stand Rogue La Bella down from competing for 10 days.
