Steward's Report
Nardine's Flame and Press On were slow out. Okay Jye, Nardine's Flame and Colac Belle collided soon after the start. Foster's Gypsy and Nardine's Flame collided on the first turn. Buhbuhray Dudley and Colac Belle collided on the first turn checking Colac Belle. Swirling Waters and Buhbuhray Dudley collided on the first turn checking Colac Belle. Swirling Waters and Buhbuhray Dudley collided approaching the second turn. Foster's Gypsy checked off the heels of Colac Belle entering the back straight checking Nardine's Flame and Press On. Foster's Gypsy and Nardine's Flame collided on the home turn.
Foster's Gypsy was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound.
Swirling Waters was also vetted following the Event and Dr. Bell reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left fibula. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Swirling Waters down from competing for 5 days.
