Steward's Report
Just Clayter, Oxley Lee and Allmost Gilly collided soon after the start. Allmost Gilly raced wide in the back straight. Great Secret and Womby Doll collided approaching the first turn, severley checking Womby Doll. Hairy Warrior crossed to the rails on the first turn, checking Black Jake. Great Secret and Black Jake collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn. Womby Doll and Black Jake collided on the home turn and entering the home straight.
Hairy Warrior was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triceps injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to the trainer of Hairy Warrior Ms A. Cole regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post, Stewards took into account the injury sustained and deemed no further action was required.
