Steward's Report
Beau's Spirit,Bossy Boots and Sharden Ablaze were slow out,Ebony Lass checked off the heels of Prince Perfecto on the first turn checking Sayonara Sal and Bossy Boots and causing Sharden Ablaze to race wide. Jo Court checked off the heels of Prince Perfecto on the first turn. Beau's Spirit and Ebony Lass collided on the second turn causing Bossy Boots to stumble. Prince Perfecto and Lizola collided entering the back straight. Jo Court veered out and marred the running of Sharden Ablaze approaching the home turn and checking Bossy Boots. Jo Court veered out and marred the running of Sharden Ablaze in the home straight.
Sharden Ablaze was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Jo Court was vetted following the event.It was reported that the greyhound sustained injury to left pencil and back muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Acting under GAR 96.1 stewards charged Jo Court with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Traralgon and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT, pursuant to GAR 97.1 before any future nomination will be accepted.
