Steward's Report
Top End Lad, La Silkab, Admonish and Serina were slow out. Top End Lad crossed to the outside on the first turn checking La Silkab. Swizzle In checked off the heels of Duke Of Gabbie on the first turn. Top End Lad and Ima Faithful collided approaching the home turn. Serina faltered on the home turn and tailed off.
Serina was vetted following the Event and Dr. David Stobo, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the left scapula. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Stobo, the Stewards will stand Serina down from competing for 10 days.
Dizzy Express (weight 26.2 kls) trialled after the running of this Event over 515 metres starting from Box 1. The sectional times recorded by the Judge were as follows: 5.24: 19.38: 30.41.
