Steward's Report

Trew Courage and Stunning Champ were slow out. Sisco Boss and Lexmark Bale collided soon after the start checking Lexmark Bale. Oliver Crown and Dyna Tessa collided on the first turn. Oliver Crown and Lexmark Bale collided approaching the winning post. Stewards spoke to Mr Glasheen in regards to the delay when loading his greyhound into the starting boxes. Mr Glasheen explained to Stewards that in his opinion the handler of the greyhound in the starting position next to him had discarded their greyhounds lead and collar in front of his greyhounds starting box and that this incident has caused a slight delay to him when it came his turn to load his greyhound. Stewards present at the starting boxes felt that this was not the only incident that had contributed to the slight delay, and they believed that Mr Glasheen also had trouble removing his collar and lead. Mr Glasheen's explanation was noted, Stewards reprimanded Mr Glasheen and reminded him of his responsibilities. Stewards also spoke to Mrs Tatterson in regards to the confusion when loading her greyhound into the starting boxes. Mrs Tatterson was also reminded of her responsibilities.
