Dan Flex and Kermit were slow out. Kermit checked off the heels of Pretty Boy Shane soon after the start. Bug's World checked off the heels of Freeway Blue approaching the first turn checking Pryor Conviction and Kermit. Bug's World and Pryor Conviction collided on the first turn. River Rhine galloped on the heels of Leigh Sloy approaching the home turn checking River Rhine and Kermit, and causing Leigh Sloy to stumble. Bug's World raced wide on the home turn. Freeway Blue and Kermit collided in the home straight.
