Steward's Report
Solar Agent, Essman, Zontea and Whirl Machine were slow to begin. Zontea and Tough Defender collided soon after the start checking Zontea which stumbled as a result. Tough Defender crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Vagabond Diamond checking Sonic Legend as a result. Sonic Legend faltered on the first turn and pulled up. Solar Agent checked off the heels of Vagabond Diamond on the first turn. Vagabond Diamond checked off the heels of Essman on the third turn.
Sonic Legend was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock and was subsequently euthanised.
