Steward's Report
Gennie Bale was a late scratching at 1:10pm due to injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Fast Rate, Big Fast Fairy and Philism were slow out. Big Fast Fairy and Candylicious collided soon after the start. Glitzy Lomar crossed to the outside approaching the first turn checking Candylicious and Aussie Rebel. Glitzy Lomar and Candylicious collided on the first turn checking Glitzy Lomar, Candylicious and Philism. Fast Rate checked off Destini Warrior entering the back straight. Glitzy Lomar and Candylicious collided in the back straight severely checking Candylicious which faltered and checked Philism as a result; Candylicious subsequently tailed off.
Candylicious was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left hock. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
