A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Orson Avery, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Sweet Suzie was quick to begin.

Went For Swim and Orson Avery collided approaching the first turn. Went For Swim galloped on Eternal Ten on the first turn checking Eternal Ten and severely checking Went For Swim. Black Beaver and Chilly Bin collided approaching the home turn. Zipping Crew and Eternal Ten collided entering the home straight. Eternal Ten raced wide in the home straight.

Went For Swim underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock abrasion. A no stand down period was imposed.
