Rumour File – Acting on a confirmed telephone call with Trainer Mr G. Howell, the greyhound was declared a late scratching at 3.48pm with Stewards permission.
People Get Ready began awkwadly and lost ground (3L). Aston Shine and Suvla Bay collided soon after the start. Robin's Choice crossed towards the running rail soon after the start, checking Robin's Choice and Aston Shine, severely checking Pirate Pete. Robin's Choice checked off Aston Shine approaching the first turn. Lots Of Chatter and Fortuna Bale collided approaching the home turn, checking Fortuna Bale. People Get Ready and Robin's Choice collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds.
