Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Tamborine Girl.
Aston Arielle and Armagh were quick to begin. Squiggly Sam and Arkansas were slow to begin.
Tamborine Girl (led in the back straight and lost ground) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer - Mr. K. Finn regarding the performance of Tamborine Girl at today's meeting. Mr.Finn told Stewards that the greyhound performed well at Mt. Gambier over the 512m and expected a similar showing at Ballarat, however, advised that this was the greyhound's first start at this track over the 545m and felt this contributed to the greyhound's performance today. Mr. Finn further advised that it was his intention to keep the greyhound racing over the distance, and will return to Mt. Gambier where the greyhound may be better suited. Stewards noted the explanation.
