Aston Tigris, Tamaro Bale and Finnis Bale were quick to begin.
Edward Nigma (checked and collided with the rail turning out of the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
