Dutch Rambo – Late scratching at 09:24 when Mr Matthew Lanigan reported the greyhound to have Vomitting (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Inter Black Fire was quick to begin. Midnight Shimmer and Bang On Blue were slow to begin.
Midnight Shimmer contacted the running rail in the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left long head triceps muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
