Steward's Report
What Desire and He Will Shine were quick to begin. Blue Bale and Mini Star were slow to begin.
No Holds Barred (failed to negotiate the turn into the home straight and tailed off) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have pannus, multiple abrasions and a torn right nail. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 42(4), Stewards must receive a veterinary certificate of clearance that indicates the greyhound’s vision is adequate to allow the greyhound to see the lure. Upon receipt of this clearance, No Holds Barred must then perform a satisfactory trial, pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted. Representative and owner Mr Gary Hansen indicated the greyhound will be retired.
