A pre-race sample was taken from Inter Cyborg.
Mt. View Buck was slow to begin.
Kraken Attila lost ground from the 150m mark, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the right hind foot. No stand down period was imposed. Mr Brent Merton declined the option to have the greyhound re–examined. Stewards spoke to Mr. Merton regarding Kraken Attila’s performance following the 150m mark. After hearing submissions from Mr Merton, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Kraken Attila unsatisfactory. Kraken Attila must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted. Mr. Merton advised that he intends to retire the greyhound.
