Steward's Report
Paddy Almighty was slow to begin.
Caliah's Crew turned it's head outwards and visibly eased at the 100m mark. Underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg shin soreness. Stewards spoke to Mr. Louie Bicchieri regarding Caliah's Crew's racing manners at the 100m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Caliah's Crew was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Biccheri pleaded not guilty to the charge. Caliah's Crew was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
La Lina turned head inwards at the 100m mark. Underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left sartorius muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Stavros Kipirtidis regarding La Lina’s racing manners at the 100m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, La Lina was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Kipirtidis pleaded not guilty to the charge. La Lina was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
