A pre–race sample was taken from Circle The Globe.
Super Size Fries was quick to begin. Action Royale, Circle The Globe and Riverdale Sky were slow to begin.
Rocket Susie crossed to the rail soon after the start. Riverdale Sky raced wide on the home turn.
Circle The Globe was severely checked and fell turning out of the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
A post–race sample was taken from Super Size Fries – the winner of the event.
