A post-race sample was taken from Petzel Bale - the winner of the event..
Mi Amigo Tequila underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered a seizure. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under the provisions of GAR 42, Mi Amigo Tquila is prohibited from competing in an event until such time as both a veterinary clearance is provided to the satisfaction of Stewards and a Satisfactory Trial is completed pursuant to GAR 132. Further, under the provisions of GAR 42(3), Mi Amigo Tequila is suspended from racing for 28 days at all tracks.
