Steward's Report
Golden Lady was quick to begin. Arctic Dash and Pablo's Call were slow to begin. Lancome Lass was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
Lancome Lass (lost ground soon after the start and took no competetive part in this event), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid musle injury and a right thigh muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Boehmke regarding Lancome Lass’s performance and racing manners throughout this event. After hearing submissions from Mr. Boehmke, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Lancome Lass unsatisfactory. Lancome Lass must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
