Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Superfly Girl.
Ocean Mist was quick to begin.
Uno Peanut visibly eased on the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined at 19:11 and was found to have a right hock injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Ellisa Franklin regarding Uno Peanut’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Uno Peanut was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Franklin pled guilty to the charge, Uno injury was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
There was no head on vision available in the home straight.
