Gold Maree was checked and contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and subsequently fell. Gold Maree underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg triceps and biceps injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Spring Flame was Checked and lost ground on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind and a left fore spike wound. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Potch faltered and shifted out on the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Prior to the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track following heavy rainfall in the area and were satisfied it was suitable for racing.

Stewards held the All Clear after the lure slowed and stopped soon after the start of this event. In pursuant to GAR 110, the event was declared a ‘No Race’. All bets are to be refunded. The weights recorded for the greyhounds are void and do not count for the purposes of the weight rule at the greyhounds’ next start. The event was then abandoned, with prizemoney to be split evenly between the greyhounds which competed.

Plenty Of Value, Under His Spell, Norse Queen, Big Pistol, Adam's Back, Aston Stout and Be Rugged underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Rear View Mirror underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind toe abrasion. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Phillip Repici regarding the racing manners of Lady Montana in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr Repici, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

Ocean Mist was quick to begin.

Uno Peanut visibly eased on the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined at 19:11 and was found to have a right hock injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Ellisa Franklin regarding Uno Peanut’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Uno Peanut was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Franklin pled guilty to the charge, Uno injury was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
