A pre–race sample was taken from - Who Knows Chloe.
Milkman Neil and De La Cruz were quick to begin.
Hatchet Harry veered inwards and marred Milman Neil in the home straight.
Hatchet Harry, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left and right satorius muscles. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr M Roberts regarding Hatchet Harry’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Hatchet Harry was charged with marring. Mr M Roberts pleaded guilty to the charge. Hatchet Harry was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool (1st offence) and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
