Breamar Sheila was slow to begin.
Billy Spanner was severely checked at the 200m mark, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 4 - no apparent injury was reported.
Staggeringly turned it's head inwards soon after the start, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 4, no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr. Brent Merton regarding Staggeringly's racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Staggeringly was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Merton pleaded guilty to the charge. Staggeringly was suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
