Steward's Report
The start of this event was aborted and deemed a false start due to delay of boxing Finlaystone. All greyhounds were removed from the starting boxes, vetted by the on-track Veterinarian and passed fit to race in accordance with GAR 110 (7). The race was delayed by approximately 5 minutes whilst this occurred.
Inter Cyborg, Hurricane Gypsy and She's Roses were quick to begin
Stewards spoke to Caiden Wilson regarding the unnecessary delay in boxing Finlaystone in this event. A warning was issued to Mr Wilson pursuant to GAR 105 (9).
A post-race blood sample was taken from Inter Cyborg - the winner of the event.
Rio Sam – 6 month– Solo, Distance 350m, Weight 34.0kg, Box 4, Time Run 20.227 – Comment: Cleared All Tracks.

General:
Stewards opened and closed an inquiry with Mr Ian Dann regarding the welfare of Sir Les. After it came to our attention that the greyhound was left in a vehicle for a period of 20 minutes with the windows closed and no ventilation. Stewards issued a charge under GAR 165 (a) Conduct which is in any way detrimental or prejudicial to the interest, welfare, image, control, or promotion of greyhound racing. Mr Dann pleaded not guilty to the charge. Mr Dann was found guilty and charged $250.00.
