Sunset Magic was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards established that Sunset Magic turned in the boxes.  Acting under GAR 52(1) Sunset Magic was placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks).

Mouyong Jimmy, Dr. Timothy and Dyna Judas were slow to begin. Mouyong Jimmy, Dr. Timothy and See Him Next collided soon after the start severely checking Dr. Timothy. American Muscle checked off the heels of See Him Next approaching the first turn. Blue Jager Light, Mouyong Jimmy and Dyna Judas collided approaching the home turn checking Mouyong Jimmy and Dyna Judas. Staggerlicious and See Him Next collided approaching the home turn checking See Him Next. Staggerlicious and See Him Next collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. Dr. Timothy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn left triangle muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Gunnadoo Blade was slow to begin. Topeka and Dr. Mortisha collided soon after the start. Gunnadoo Blade, Rusty's Cape and Brandon's Way collided on the first turn checking Kirky Courtz, Cosmic Tequila and Dr. Mortisha and severely checking Topeka and Brandon's Way. Dr. Mortisha checked off the heels of Kirky Courtz on the first turn.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. Ricky Coleman, the handler of Gunnadoo Blade regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing. (GAR46)

Stewards spoke to Mr. Tom Walsh regarding his tardiness in boxing the greyhound Kirky Courtz.

Watch My Path and Selynya Kev collided on the first turn checking Selynya Kev and Sure Cheap. Sure Cheap and Selynya Kev collided approaching the home turn and again in the home straight.

Cosmic Buddy was vetted prior to the event and was passed fit to race.

He Throws Bombs was slow to begin. Ultra Bright, Dr. Phil and Dyna Revy collided soon after the start checking Dr. Phil and Dyna Revy. Mr. Alouette, Ultra Bright and Cosmic Ali collided approaching the first turn checking Ultra Bright. He Throws Bombs, Mr. Alouette, Cosmic Ali and Vapour Caper collided on the first turn checking Cosmic Ali, Mr. Alouette and Ultra Bright and severely checking Cosmic Buddy. Mr. Alouette and Cosmic Ali collided approaching the home turn.

Kenzi and Hoss were slow to begin. Zenga Bale, Kenzi and Hoss collided soon after the start. Kenzi contacted the running rail approaching the first turn. Hoss contacted the running rail on the first turn checking Zenga Bale and Mermaid Millie. Marungi Choice checked off the heels of Jules Norris approaching the home turn. Mermaid Mille raced wide in the home straight.

Kenzi was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left biceps muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Ishaan was a late scratching at 5.19pm due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Jenny Hunt was fined the sum of $100.

Punk Panther was slow to begin. Magic Galo and Mepunga Melachi collided soon after the start. Allen Quarian, Punk Panther and Mepunga Melachi collided approaching the first turn checking Mepunga Melachi and causing Punk Panther to fall. Allen Quarian and Stop Moochin' collided on the first turn checking Allen Quarian. Mepunga Melachi faltered on the first turn and tailed off.

Punk Panther was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to the tail and right thigh, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Mepunga Melachi was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to the right back metatarsals, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.

Bekim Vapour was slow to begin. Repayments and Tankster collided soon after the start. Minute River and Cazar Rose collided soon after the start. Castel Bale galloped on the heels of Our Spinner soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Bekim Vapour and Castel Bale collided approaching the first turn. Got Held Up was quick to begin. Kaufman Bale and Boolite Bruiser collided soon after the start checking Boolite Bruiser. Kaufman Bale checked off Miss Trewvain approaching the home turn. Grand Ocean and Miss Trewvain collided approaching the home turn checking Grand Ocean, which then collided with Boolite Bruiser. Gaelic Peter and Armed And Ready collided approaching the home turn. Gaelic Peter, Miss Trewvain and Armed And Ready collided entering the home straight. Armed And Ready raced wide in the home straight.

Grand Ocean tired over the concluding stages and was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right pencil muscle and left shoulder, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from White Spyro.

Tammy Baxter and White Spyro collided soon after the start checking Tammy Baxter. White Spyro crossed to the inside approaching the first turn checking Dyna Malaise, Inventor, Dyna Rapidash, Prince Baling and Ketut's Kaput, causing Ketut's Kaput and Tammy Baxter to collided and race wide. Ketut's Keput and Tammy Baxter collided on the home turn.

Keep One was a late scratching at 5.18pm due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. Brock Wilson was fined the sum of $100.

Cash Rules was quick to begin. Mister Mint was slow to begin. Another City and Tiny Bit Left collided soon after the start. Another City, Tiny Bit Left and Miss Top Gear collided approaching the first turn checking Another City and Miss Top Gear. Mister Mint race wide on the first turn, approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Mister Mint was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left fan muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. Gary Elliott, trainer of  Saint Fab redeclared a new weight of 32.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Saint Fab last raced at 30.6kg.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Saint Fab trialled over the 450m from box one, weight 32.3kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of four. The time of the trial was 25.88, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3 lengths. Saint Fab was Cleared.
