Cast And Crew and Sniffer Grange were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Rosie Rocks crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Grand Slam Diva. Cast And Crew, McLanahan, Sniffer Grange, Grand Slam Diva and Extra Cuddles collided on the first turn severely checking McLanahan. Extra Cuddles, Grand Slam Diva and Sniffer Grange collided approaching the home turn checking Grand Slam Diva and Extra Cuddles. McLanahan contacted the running rail approaching the home turn and lost ground as a result. Barcia Beebee crossed to the rail approaching the home turn checking Lady Tron and Rosie Rocks. Grand Slam Diva and Extra Cuddles collided approaching the home turn. Cast And Crew checked off Rosie Rocks approaching the home turn checking Sniffer Grange. Sniffer Grange raced wide on the home turn. Grand Slam Diva crossed to the outside on the home turn and collided with Sniffer Grange checking both greyhounds.  

Grand Slam Diva was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

McLanahan was vetted following the event and revetted following race 3. It was reported that the greyhound sustained multiple spike wounds. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Paua to Escape was quick to begin.

Ice Contractor and Claretown Zoe collided approaching the first turn checking Ice Contractor and Peejay. Why Not Franklin raced wide in the home straight. 

Cosmic Daicos was slow to begin. 

Ima Lonely Boy and Pentapod collided approaching the first turn checking Pentapod. Ima Lonely Boy and All Mighty One collided approaching the first turn. Image Puzzle and Ima Lonely Boy collided on the first turn checking Image Puzzle. Sheoak Blue Boy and Cosmic Daicos raced wide on the home turn. Image Puzzle checked off Ima Lonely Boy in the home straight. Cosmic Daicos raced wide in the home straight. 

Thunder Chief was slow to begin. 

Slipaway Mavis, Thunder Chief and Big Boy McEvoy collided soon after the start checking Thunder Chief. Thunder Chief checked off Big Boy McEvoy on the first turn causing Thunder Chief to race wide as a result. Slipaway Mavis checked off Chasin Mikado in the home straight. 

Thunder Chief was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

Kakihara, Claretown Bart and Filius Flitwick collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Jindara and Ko Ko Mikado collided approaching the first turn checking Ko Ko Mikado. Filius Flitwick, Ko Ko Mikado and Claretown Bart collided on the first turn checking Filius Flitwick and severely checking Ko Ko Mikado and Claretown Bart. 

Stewards spoke to trainer Mrs J. Rinaldi regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Ice Flicka. Stewards directed that Ice Flicka be boxed first in future events. 

A sample was taken fro Ronray Spirit - winner of the event. 

Mahogany Saphire was slow to begin. 

Slipaway Kessa crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Bronco De Jurer, Sahara and Crusade Marjen. Crusade Marjen checked off Sahara on the first turn. All For Nothing and Cosmea collided in the back straight checking Cosmea. Cosmea checked off All For Nothing approaching the home turn checking Crusade Marjen.

Crusade Marjen was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Candle Wish was slow to begin. 

High Commando and Claretown Maisy collided approaching the first turn. High Commando and Kid Maximus collided approaching the first turn. Kid Maximus and Chant collided on the first turn checking Kid Maximus. Claretown Maisy and Chant collided several times in the home straight. 

Lazza Mikado checked off Agent Jack soon after the start. Dynamo's Miss and Agent Jack collided approaching the first turn. Agent Jack, Old Jock and Silk Club collided on the first turn checking Old Jock. Dynamo's Miss checked off Old Jock on the first turn. Agent Jack and Silk Club collided entering the back straight severely checking Agent Jack which tailed off. Old Jock checked off Silk Club approaching the home turn. Old Jock and Silk Club collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. 

Agent Jack was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a dropped right back muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Hunter Rocks and Lektra Bird collided soon after the start checking Lektra Bird. Extra Stars and Broon Hilda collided approaching the first turn checking Extra Stars. Perfect Madison and You Say Goodbye collided on the home turn. Ima Apple and Lektra Bird collided entering the home straight. Lektra Bird faltered in the home straight and tailed off. 

Lektra Bird was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock. A 28 day stand down was period was imposed. 

Benny Bowen and Classy Flyer collided soon after the start checking Classy Flyer. Sweet Diva and Coopnarcha collided soon after the start checking Coopnarcha. Benny Bowen, Classy Flyer, Sweet Diva, Coopnarcha and Premier Express collided approaching the first turn checking Premier Express.
