Steward's Report
Mr. P Jones was fined the sum of $50 for his failure to produce the registration card for the greyhound Ko Ko Mikado pursuant to GAR 33.
Mr. B. Divirgilio, trainer of Fender redeclared a new weight of 32.8kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Fender last raced at 31.3kgs.
Ko Ko Mikado was quick to begin. Peter Pettigrew and Fender were slow to begin.
Peter Pettigrew and Blonde Oasis collided on the first turn. Fender crossed to the outside approaching the second turn and collided with Zipping Bart checking Zipping Bart and severely checking Fender. Fender checked off Zipping Bart on the second turn. Peter Pettigrew checked off Dyna Glinda approaching the home turn.

Fender was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right fibula, right back muscle, right and left front metacarpals and back soreness, a 5 stand down period was imposed.
