Shima Ruby, Dutton Ranch and Bun Exhale were slow to begin.
Dutton Ranch (checked and faltered approaching first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right hock. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Aston Heir - winner of the event.
