Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Invictus Harry.
Cawbourne Spots and Serene Equity were quick to begin. Willa Bale was slow to begin.
Distracting - Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Keith Lancaster regarding the racing manners of the greyhound entering the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr Lancaster, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning.
Casino Don - (racing manners home turn) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Ms Andrea Chapple regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Casino Don was charged with marring. Ms Chapple pleaded guilty to the charge. Casino Don was suspended for 28 days at Meadows only and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
